The story of beer on Římská Street began in late 2018.
Right here in the heart of Prague’s Vinohrady district, the very first batch was brewed under the name Ossegg Brewery Prague.
The brewing equipment, crafted by Litvínov Engineering, includes a solid three-vessel brewhouse (1,500 L) and nine conical fermenters, each holding 3,000 L. Built to last — and still serving us well.
In 2024, a new chapter begins. New ownership, a new name — but the same love for beer.
We reintroduce ourselves as ŘÍMSKÁ Brewery & Restaurant. The name reflects not only our location but our commitment to becoming a true part of the neighborhood, the city, and the people who make it come alive.
At the heart of it all is brewmaster Jan Wiesner.
Young, skilled, and full of passion. Respectful of tradition, yet unafraid to experiment. Under his watch, we brew four signature beers — our faithful regulars. And beyond those, we rotate a line of seasonal specials: bold, creative brews that bring something fresh to the tap. You’ll always find 1–2 of them ready to taste.

CYKLO 8 – Wheat Ale
A light, top-fermented beer in the Ale category, brewed with Citra (USA) and Superdelic (New Zealand) hops. Expect a fresh, floral and citrusy aroma followed by a finish rich in red berries and tropical fruit. It has a crisp bitterness, medium body, and a refreshing mouthfeel.

ŘÍMSKÁ X – Light Draft Lager
A bottom-fermented, unfiltered and unpasteurized pale lager. Brewed with Saaz Semi-Early Red and Vital hops, this beer has a mild hop aroma, clean bitterness, and medium body. Perfectly refreshing and balanced.

ŘÍMSKÁ XI – American Red Ale
A ruby red, top-fermented ale bursting with character. Hopped with Pacifica and Mosaic, it delivers a distinctive aroma of tropical fruits, lime, and peach. The taste features citrus notes — especially orange — with a smooth, gently bitter finish.
11.5% EPM | ABV: 4.5% | Bitterness: 35 IBU | Colour: 19 EBC
ŘÍMSKÁ XII – Light Lager
Unfiltered and unpasteurized, this bottom-fermented lager is brewed with two types of malt and exclusively hopped with Saaz Semi-Early Red. It has a delicate hop aroma and a clean, pleasantly bitter finish.
12.5% EPM | ABV: 4.8% | Bitterness: 33 IBU | Colour: 8 EBC
ŘÍMSKÁ XIII – Semi-Dark Lager
A full-bodied, malty lager brewed with four types of malt and Czech hops (Saaz Semi-Early Red and Vital). Rich in caramel notes, balanced bitterness, and a smooth medium body.
13.5% EPM | ABV: 5.4% | Bitterness: 33 IBU | Colour: 45 EBC
NEAKLO ALE – Non-Alcoholic Ale
A light, non-alcoholic ale with medium bitterness and a complex fruity aroma. Thanks to Galaxy hops from Australia (Victoria and Tasmania), you’ll pick up citrus, peach, and passion fruit, while Superdelic hops from New Zealand add notes of red berries.
